It is used to give you error bars around your current rating as well as to calculate the impact your performance on a new problem should have on your current rating (based on old problems). Basically, the RD is a measure of how accurate your rating is. So, if your rating on the site is 1500 with an RD of 30, then you could view your actual rating as somewhere between 1470 (1500-30) and 1530 (1500+30). Of course, the RD is just measure of deviation. I love this site. Feedback: 1. Please always keep the ability to choose which level of tactics I play and not show a timer (I like warming up with easy problems, and hate the timer) 2. Allowing for post-tactic analysis, moving pieces anywhere would be great 3. Allowing for engine analysis would be incredible if possible, but perhaps a lot of load on your servers. Maybe a good feature to charge for since it'd increase your costs. Thank you so much for this wonderful site!!! If there is any way to volunteer to help, I wouldn't mind helping construct endgame exercises, etc. |
