2012-09-04	SuperPAC	I second Datr's thoughts on enabling edit / deletion of comments, and the idea of being able to explore continuation lines. Most of the comments on problems deal with "what if" scenarios -- it would be great to be able to return to the position after the tactics problem and play out different scenarios to see what the computer response would be. This would help players get a greater understanding of why the given solution is best and why their solution doesn't work.
2012-09-04	Datr	Chess Tempo has thousands of players, many with high grades and they provide some very in-depth analysis. I find ideachess far more relaxing and prefer the simple comment structure on the site. I wouldn't recommend "reproducing" a copy of ChessTempo, however, there are a few things that you could possibly do. 1. On CT the player who made the last comment can edit their comment, this is useful if one makes a mistake or wants to add something else. 2. Gold members can attach their engine to the board and analyse the position within CT. In ideachess I have to copy the string and paste into Fritz. 3. The endgame training in CT is better, players get a separate endgame rating. 4. The CT boards seem to load much more quickly, I don't know if they are using Java or another system. In addition, in ideachess I think it would be useful to have the FEN string in Practice so that continuation lines etc can be analysed as in Tactics, of course attaching the players own engine would be better in Tactics an

2011-05-30	Garykevinware	It is ridiculous to lose 97 points on one problem, especially when you're lucky to get 2 points for each correct answer.

2011-05-28	Garykevinware	Thanks. When one spends a long time on a problem, one can get logged out, and when you finish the problem, you don't get the benefit of looking at the solution, and/or seeing your new rating, etc.

2011-05-24	Zuril	I've removed all mates in more than 3 moves recently added that have the wrong number of moves in the expected solution. I think this will fix the bug!

2011-05-21	Garykevinware	This 'mate in 6' really is a mate in 5, as 1 Rcg3 is the best move, rather than 1 Rh3. Last night, I tried playing the inferior move, and I was still not getting credit. I tried again this morning, and even though Black is mated, it is 'frozen', in terms of giving me credit, and being able to move to the next position, without losing points!

Ho fatto tutto giusto fino alla 5 mossa, poi il computer ha giocato 6.h6g8 e io ho preso h8g8 e mi ha dato problema errato. Ma perchè nella soluzione riporta 6.h6f7+ h8g7? E' un evidente baco. Puoi ripristinare i punti che mi ha sottratto?
2011-05-18	Lenzo	Ciao Orco, io non sento la mancanza di un motore per giocare, preferisco gli umani come avversari e ci sono molti modi in rete per giocare, trovo invece utilissimi gli esercizi interattivi e soprattutto i finali, troppo spesso vedo i miei ragazzi arrivare a un finale vinto per poi dare stallo o girare per la scacchiera senza dare matto...
2011-05-17	Orcodituapse	Aloha, quì è l'orco che vi parla. Se posso vorrei dire la mia a proposito di ideachess. La parte del sito orientata verso gli esercizi và bene, anche se diversi hanno soluzioni inesatte/incomplete; col tempo cmq la cosa dovrebbe migliorare. Direi che invece è perfettibile la parte dove si può giocare una partita completa; in primo luogo la scelta tra soli 4 possibili avversari virtuali è troppo limitata, ed inoltre non và bene il fatto che rispondano quasi istantaneamente ed infine che la partita non abbia limiti di tempo. Ci sono tanti motori freeware in internet che potrebbe essere impiegati per creare numerosi personaggi di gioco, previo permesso del rispettivo programmatore.
